Overview


 

The Boeing Company is seeking a Cyber Security Assessment Specialist to join our office located in Fairfax, Virginia.  The ideal candidate will lead and conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing of target systems and environments with significant business impact/risk or high visibility customers. In addition, he/she will analyze architecture and system functionality for multiple or unique technologies.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Evaluates current vulnerability testing methods and influences industry best practices.
  • Configures, conducts and/or oversees automated scanning and manual testing.
  • Establishes standardized assessment processes.
  • Reviews and presents technical reports and briefings.
  • Specializes in multiple or unique technologies and testing approaches.
  • Perform assessment planning.

Qualifications 
Typical Education/Experience:

Technical bachelor's degree and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or a Master's degree with typically 12 or more years' or a PhD degree with typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A technical degree is defined as any four year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • This position requires an active (or ability to obtain) U.S. Security Clearance, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship
  • 5+ years experience in cybersecurity assessments, intelligence, operations centers, and data protection
  • Experience leading and developing corporate level cybersecurity strategies and measures

Desired Qualifications:

  • 2+ years experience developing integrated cybersecurity assessment workflows
  • 2+ years experience communication and presenting strategies at executive levels
