Job Description
We are seeking a Cyber Security Assessment Specialist to support the Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) Systems Test (ST), System of Systems (SOS) test capability. The applicant will be a key team member in embedded program execution support for cyber test across enterprise efforts. The primary responsibilities will be required as applied to embedded systems within fielded and future platforms.

Primary Responsibilities: 
  • Conducts vulnerability assessments of target systems and environments with defined interfaces.
  • Plans and conducts data gathering and reconnaissance on target systems.
  •  Analyzes architecture and system functionality for multiple technologies.
  • Researches new technologies.
  • Develops and implements vulnerability testing methodologies.
  • Performs routine exploit analysis and limited penetration testing and executes attacks.
  • Contributes to the development and evaluation of attack scenarios.
  • Prepares and delivers technical reports and briefings. Proposes technical and/or procedural recommendations.
  • Evaluates findings and conducts root cause analysis.
  • Conducts remediation reviews.
  • Performs assessments planning with defined interfaces. Identifies high level characteristics of assessment targets with multiple technologies.
  • Defines testing scope; conducts risk analysis and threat assessment.
  • Identifies testing resources/constraints and develops test plans.
  • Provides technical content in support of proposal and contract activities.

This position requires an active (or ability to obtain) U.S. Security Clearance, for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. 

Typical Education and Experience:
Technical bachelor's degree and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or a Master's degree with typically 7 or more years' or a PhD degree with typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A technical degree is defined as any four year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study.

Basic Skills:

  • Experience conducting vulnerability assessments.
  • Experience developing and implementing vulnerability testing methodologies.
  • Experience analyzing architecture and system functionality for multiple technologies.
  • Experience developing cyber security technologies


Preferred Certifications:

  • Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
