Perform duties as a Cyberspace technical advisor. Apply experience gained from Cyber protection teams and the Cyberspace Vulnerability Assessment or Hunter (CVA/H) platform to advise and provide technical recommendations to Air Force Operational Planning Teams (OPTs). Serve as the primary liaison between the seven AF Cyber protection teams, the Cyberspace Wing, and the Operations Center. Leverage knowledge of planning processes, as outlined in Joint Planning Publication 5.0 and integrate high-level knowledge of computer networks into planning efforts designed to overcome problem sets encountered. Integrate personal experience, expertise, and knowledge of CVA/H platform and operational capabilities into OPTs being conducted at Numbered Air Force (NAF), Operations Center (OC), Major Command (MAJCOM), Combatant Command (COCOM), and Joint levels, as required. Research and develop technical recommendations, including whitepapers, oral presentations, and demonstrations to or for mid and senior Air Force leaders and Cyber planners. Develop milestones associated with recommendations regarding proper tasking and employment of wing operational capabilities in order to ensure Air Force objectives are met, as outlined in orders issued by higher headquarters.

Basic Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience with Air Force or Joint-service Cyber warfare planning or platform management
  • 6+ years of experience with hands-on work in deployment and operation of the CVA/H platform, including a concentration on network intrusion
  • Ability to generate executive-level products using Microsoft Office
  • Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision
  • Active Top Secret clearance
  • BA or BS degree
Additional Qualifications:
  • Experience in working with senior DoD civilians, military, and government contractors
  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills, including collaborating with counterparts in other organizations and senior levels
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • BS degree in CS, Computer Engineering, MIS, Information Security, or related engineering or technical field preferred; MS degree in CS, Computer Engineering, MIS, Information Security, or related engineering or technical field a plus
  • ISC2 Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP), System Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP), Certified Authorization Professional (CAP), or Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP) Certification

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.
