The Cyber Security Systems Manager will lead a team of security engineers in a 24x7 enterprise security operations organization while leading daily activities of the System Security team, such as management of enterprise antivirus solutions for endpoints, server infrastructure, File Integrity Monitoring (FIM) solutions and endpoint encryption control. 
In this exciting role, you will ensure activities are performed in accordance with CVS Health Policy and the best security policies and provide appropriate updates to IT management and assist in responding to audits as necessary. 

This position calls for a strategic individual who understands business operations, information technology and security and will utilize that knowledge to assist with the implementation of an effective security campaign that ensures the overall security position of CVS Health is aligned with business needs and the changing threat landscape. 
You will have demonstrated leadership specific to technical information security issues, hands on system and data protection security experience, as well as an understanding of healthcare and retail or PBM business processes and regulations. High level communication skills are critical to successfully translate technology and security requirements into business terms. 

The Cyber Security Systems & Data Protection Manager is responsible for but not limited to: 
  • Providing security leadership, performance management, on-call rotation management and production issue mentor-ship to staff of System Security guides. 
  • Collaborate with various IT and Non-IT functional groups to ensure effective service delivery of designated programs for internal clients for all environments. 
  • Continuously evaluate and update the System Security operational procedures as appropriate and ensure they are followed. Know the latest on the latest security threats and vulnerabilities and educate staff to take informed dedicated actions to the enterprise environment. 
  • Develop an operational road-map for the sustained success of the team, which includes the team's performance against Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and continuous improvement for System Security team. 
  • Participate in infrastructure and security incident management processes to derive root cause and after action reports. 
  • Participate in on-site network and security audits related to PCI, SOX, HIPAA, etc to demonstrate effective System Security enterprise controls. Facilitate strong shared relationships with multi-functional IT teams to meet IT Security Operations annual goals. 
  • Stay ahead of the newest technologies and collaborate with Enterprise Architecture to evaluate or upgrading existing System Security infrastructure. 
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years experience working in an information security or IT operations related field in an enterprise environment
Technical leadership experience working with Antivirus, Endpoint Encryption and File Integrity Monitoring technologies. 

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proven leadership skills including: effective oral and written communication, performance management, issue resolution, negotiation, motivating others, forecasting and planning. 
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CCNA, CCNP, GIAC are preferred. 
  • Management experience and/or equivalent leadership skills leading an operations team preferred 
High school diploma or GED plus equivalent work experience required. Bachelors degree preferred.
