Cyber Risk Manager, Principal Associate

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with a team of Tech Risk Management and Information Security professionals to provide subject matter expertise to business project teams
  • Collate and assess risk and status of ISRM control programs through the development of information security metrics and heat maps
  • Assist with formal security risk assessments and increase team awareness of risk to enable appropriate risk response
  • Support business leadership to ensure they understand operational, compliance and cyber security risks for mitigation and understand operating effectiveness of controls
  • Support business with internal and external (i.e. regulator) assessments, providing guidance and recommendations to stakeholders
  • Provide consultation to the business on issue management
  • Work with leadership to communicate, mitigate, and escalate risk as required

About You:

  • You have strong written and verbal communication skills
  • You are driven to provide excellent customer and stakeholder service and support
  • You have strong organizational skills and the ability to drive tasks to completion
  • You possess the ability to negotiate and influence results without direct authority
  • You are team-oriented and have the ability to interface effectively with a broad range of people and roles, including upper management and technology leaders
  • You maintain calmness and clarity of thought under pressure and have the ability to maintain confidentiality
  • You are able to work well under minimal supervision

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or military experience
  • At least 2 years of experience with risk identification and audit and compliance
  • At least 2 years of experience with technology risk frameworks
  • At least 2 years of risk management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 1 years of experience in operational compliance, IT audit or security risk
  • At least 1 years of process management experience
  • Experience using the Proactive Risk Identification & Mitigation Engine (PRIME)
  • You are certified or intend to pursue one or an equivalent of the following certifications: CISA, CISSP, CRISC, C|EH, CISM, AWS Solutions Architect Associate
