Role Description:

Ciber Global, is currently seeking an experienced Network Security Architect in the Orlando, Fl area. 

The department is responsible for technology strategy and management, central engineering, architecture, IT and technical operations for the Company including virtual worlds, flagship Web sites. The department provides services in both platform engineering and web operations. Platform engineering includes Content Management Systems, UGC Enforcement Platform, E-commerce, Video Distribution Technology, Registration, Advertising Systems and Data Warehouse & Reporting. The departments web operations teams focus on Servers & Hosting and Network Connectivity. the departments teams are located in Seattle, Bristol, N. Hollywood, Glendale, New York, Burbank, and Orlando

The key responsibilities of this position include:
  • Development of network security design plans and the development of reference architectures and standards for secure networking across the enterprise. 
  • The position is responsible for understanding and interpreting global business and technical security requirements in order to apply advanced next generation firewalling, encryption, access control and intrusion prevention technologies for global consumption. 
  • This includes participation in discovery, documentation, validation / refinement of forward-looking solutions (ex. Global Network Access Control and next-gen integrated Firewall and IPS strategy) while considering opportunities for re-use of standard solutions and technologies.
  • Develops and communicates network security infrastructure design plans, future strategic and tactical plans to aid in decision making activities that affect key network environments and initiatives.
  • Researches and recommends next generation network security technologies & products (ex. 802.1x port authentication, RADIUS, Application Firewalling, Intrusion Prevention Systems, etc.…) 
  • Collaborates with suppliers, Storage, Hosting, Facilities, IT Security and Client Services towers on network security solutions for development of advanced services to meet overall protection requirements.
  • Designs customized solutions as required to support Business objectives. 
  • Meets with vendors to discuss product strategy offerings, addresses technical issues/deficiencies and influences new products and services to meet growing and changing requirements. 
  • Indirectly leads Sr. Network Security Engineers in key initiatives and ensures high quality and timeliness of deliverables.
  • 10 years in an enterprise environment that operates 7x24 services to a multitude of customers and business units. 
Ideal Certifications: 
  • CISSP, Cisco CCIE, Juniper NCIP-Enterprise, Sniffer Certified Expert/Master (SCE/SCM), ITILv3
Technical Skills: 
  • Demonstrated experience with securing Enterprise Data Center Architectures (multi security zone environments). 
  • Experience developing designs to help protect diverse networking/compute/storage technologies including networking solutions that balance security posture, performance and availability.
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of networking and security technologies/architectures including: 
  • TCP/IP protocol suite, IPSEC, TLS, SSL, client and site-to-site VPNs, RADIUS, TACACS+ and X509 Certificate authentication.
  • Proficient in Firewall technologies (Juniper SRX, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, Checkpoint), and Intrusion prevention technologies (McAfee IPS, Fortinet, Juniper IDP, etc.) 
  • Experience with encrypted network transport solutions (site-2-site and client based VPN) and public key infrastructure. 
  • Demonstrated experience with wired/wireless access control systems such as Aruba Clear Pass and Cisco ISE. 
  • Strong organizational skills used to lead and track remediation efforts upon occurrence of proactive security incident notifications from vendors’ PSIRT teams.
  • Experience in network Denial of Service defense/avoidance/protection. Includes experience with tools such as Arbor Peak Flow. 
  • Experience with malware threat load generation testing methodologies and use of tools such as Ixia/Breaking Point. 
  • Experience in developing secure networks for virtualized environments across Data Center components (compute, storage, network) including experience with protecting both physical server and hypervisor driven virtual server implementations. 
  • Experience with PCI and other security audit processes, evidence gathering, observed fieldwork and development/management of remediation plans used in resolution of findings. 
  • Experience with vulnerability and security control/exception management.
  • Experience with IT InfoSec incident response processes. 
  • Experience with Internet architectures from a security standpoint and familiarity with Denial of Service prevention mechanisms
  • Experience with implementation of access control and authentication mechanisms such as 802.1x and EAP-TLS/TTLS. 
  • Demonstrated technical knowledge of UNIX, VMWARE, application analysis (detailed packet capture analysis), network design, network management systems and troubleshooting techniques.
