Delta Risk is hiring for a full time Cyber Security Engineer in our King of Prussia, PA office location.

Essential Duties:

This position is responsible for system engineering in a challenging, complex, global computing environment. They will be responsible for deploying a variety of solutions to customer sites as well as provide internal operations team with capabilities. Responsible for maintaining and configuring a variety of equipment including firewalls, SIEMs, IDSs, Unix systems, Windows systems and a multitude of security tools.  Will provide insight and engineering acumen on an entire technology stack including endpoints, routing and switching equipment, servers, and databases. Assists operations team in identifying attack patterns. Must be able to leverage data and security tools to problem solve in a dynamic and international arena.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of professional experience as a system security engineer or information security engineer or a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Cybersecurity plus 1 year of experience
  • Experience in building and maintaining security systems
  • Detailed technical knowledge of database and operating system security
  • Hands on experience in security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software, authentication systems, log management, content filtering, etc
  • Experience with network security and networking technologies and with system, security, and network monitoring tools
  • Familiarity with web related technologies (Web applications, Web Services, Service Oriented Architectures) and of network/web related protocols
  • Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills
  • Experience with scripting for task automation (e.g., python, php, bash, perl, powershell)
  • Experience working with databases (e.g. mysql, postgres, MSSQL)
  • Experience documenting processes and procedures
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, specifically the ability to communicate with a multi-disciplinary team geographically located all over the globe.
  • Ability to work off hours as needed

Additional Desired Skills:

  • A relevant certification such as CCNA, CCNP, GSEC, or another network or security certification.
  • Excellent knowledge of linux or windows operating system variants
  • Excellent knowledge of SIEM technologies such as ArcSight, Q-radar, AlienVault, etc.
  • Ability to be a service oriented, team player
  • Up to 25% travel
