As a part of this mission Forcepoint is looking for a leader to expand its Data and Insider Threat Consulting Practice.

Working closely with Product Management and Engineering the Director of Data and Insider Threat Consulting will lead a growing high performance team in the ongoing development and implementation of Data and Insider Threat Programs.  This individual with also act in a business development capacity, identifying and cultivating data and insider threat opportunities with Sales.  The ideal candidate is an experienced consulting leader with a strong professional network within the enterprise cyber security software markets and is able to lead strategic growth initiatives from business plan to execution.

This individual will be a key member of the Professional Services team within the Customer Success and Operations Organization responsible for providing a world-class customer experience across a comprehensive portfolio of cyber security services though standards, automation, process execution and performance management. 

Responsibilities and Qualifications include:

  • Successful track record in providing onsite security consulting to Fortune 500 companies.
  • CISO or Global Security Experience with a proven ability to build and manage effective data protection and insider threat programs, law enforcement experience a plus
  • Core understanding of applications and the information technology infrastructure required.
  • Ability to articulate the strategic value of Data and Insider Threat programs and the potential exposure organizations face using traditional solutions in business today. 
  • Experience in the technology security market, IT/Security auditing, international data, personal privacy, information assurance, and international compliance.
  • Proven ability to work and partner with large enterprise consulting firms.
  • Identify transformative consulting opportunities bringing forward todays Insider Threat risk to an organization’s attention positioning a pragmatic approach addressing organizational implications, business policy, processes, and procedures along with technology resulting in better safeguards to an ever changing threat.
  • Strategic planning and positioning of the Consulting Services portfolio including business justification, stakeholder’s effected, implementation timelines, operational and technical requirements and ongoing maintenance requirements. This will include the interlock with sales, marketing, and product management with rules of engagement with strategic partners for service strategy and delivery.
  • Ensure the field sales, partner and internal delivery teams are prepared with the proper education, training, tools, process and procedures to efficiently deliver the portfolio of Data and Insider Threat cyber services.
  • Management of quarterly business plans to include financial performance, organization, market conditions, forward-looking strategy and execution plans that will include monthly, quarterly and annual revenue with the ability to apply judgment and trending analysis in an effort to accurately predict performance.
  • Ensure the proper level of consulting services are scoped and successfully delivered across all Data and Insider Threat engagements.  Validate operational aspect of the solution have been properly reviewed and approved by the appropriate service delivery team.
  • Recruit, hire, train and provide leadership and management of a high-performance team of Data and Insider Threat Consultants, Architects and Program Managers.  
  • In collaboration with Corporate Communications develop and deploy regular field communications on strategic initiatives, ongoing business operations other related topics.

Ideal Candidate's Education and Experience:

  • Leader with ability to create a vision with proven track record for execution and obtaining established goals.
  • Bachelor Degree (Master Degree preferred)
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience with a focus on building a Consulting or Professional Service Organization
  • Minimum 7 years Insider Threat Experience and/or Data Loss Prevention
  • Working Knowledge of current US and EU Data Privacy laws
  • Working Knowledge of impending GDPR regulations and Privacy Shield.
  • Experience working with EU Works Councils to successfully establish DLP/Insider threat programs
  • Other technical Cyber Security and DLP experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrated financial analysis skills; ability to provide ROI analysis and project justification.
  • Ability to influence leadership teams and cross functional teams to effectively drive change.
  • Passionate, collaborative, results oriented leader capable of inspiring and building high performing teams.
  • Experience in implementing standards, process and procedures.
  • Experience leading geographically distributed and culturally diverse work-groups.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to create impactful presentations.
  • Strong organization and planning skills; strong influencing/ negotiation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal/ relationship management skills
  • Desired - Insider Threat Program Manager (ITPM)
  • Desired - Insider Threat Vulnerability Assessor (ITVA)
  • Desired - Risk Management Framework – Certified Risk Management Professional
  • Desired - Carnegie Mellon Insider Threat Program Management Certification
  • Desired - PMP or equivalent certification
