HONEYWELL IS SEEKING AN EXPERIENCED CYBER SECURITY ENGINEER TO DEFINE, REVIEW AND RESEARCH THE SECURITY OF COMPUTER HARDWARE, NETWORKS AND SYSTEMS, INCLUDING OPERATING SYSTEMS, , COMPUTER NETWORKS, AND COMMUNICATIONS NETWORKS, WITH AN EMPHASIS ON THE SECURITY OF COMPLEX NETWORK SYSTEMS. ADDITIONALLY, DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT IN SOFTWARE, DATABASE AND SECURE OPERATIONS

RESPONSIBILITIES.

YOU MUST HAVE:

  • MINIMUM BACHELOR'S DEGREE IN COMPUTER SCIENCE, ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING, INFORMATION SYSTEMS OR SIMILAR DISCIPLINE WITH AN EMPHASIS ON SYSTEM SECURITY , NETWORK SECURITY OR CYBER SECURITY OR IN LIEU OF A DEGREE, 6+ YEARS OF RELATED EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • MINIMUM 4 YEARS’ EXPERIENCE IN NETWORK CYBER SECURITY

  • MUST BE A U.S. CITIZENSHIP AND ABILITY TO OBTAIN AND MAINTAIN A SECURITY CLEARANCE

 

WE VALUE:

  • MASTER'S DEGREE IN COMPUTER SCIENCE, ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING OR SIMILAR DISCIPLINE WITH AN EMPHASIS ON ELECTRONIC SYSTEM SECURITY WITH 4+ YEARS' DOMAIN EXPERIENCE IN ANALYSIS OF NETWORK SYSTEMS AND 4+ YEAR OF R&D EXPERIENCE IN CYBER SECURITY

  • CRYPTOGRAPHIC KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE TO SECURE AUTHENTICATION AND PROTECT DATA / INFORMATION BOTH AT REST AND IN TRANSIT IS A PLUS

  • CURIOSITY AND PASSION FOR AVIATION AND OTHER TRANSPORTATION MARKETS AND PRODUCTS

  • PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE WITH CYBER DATA CENTER

  • NETWORK INCIDENT AND NETWORK EMERGENCY RESPONSE

  • IOC
     

INCLUDES:

  • CAREER GROWTH TOWARDS ESTABLISHING THEMSELVES AS A SUBJECT MATTER EXPERT IN THE AREA OF CYBER SECURITY
