Come join the Security team as a Senior Forensic Analyst.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducting digital forensic data acquisitions of various types of digital media to support HR, Litigation or Internal investigations and audits using at least one of Forensic Analysis Applications (EnCase, FTK, X-Ways, SIFT, Helix, Autopsy/Sleuthkit, Stellar, Paraben, Cellebrite, etc.)
  • Conducting behavioral analysis, link analysis, and general intelligence analysis on information extracted from digital media and available logs
  • Conducting multi-source investigations using various sources to further evaluate findings, map relationships, determine lateral movement or information leakage, analyze geo-location information, verify attribution, and independently corroborate the case’s background information
  • Providing oversight, technical requirements and standards to internal application teams for data acquisitions and forensic processing
  • Explaining technical artifacts and findings to non-technical audiences
  • Performing data collections from internal applications, servers, desktop systems and mobile devices
  • Supporting security incident analysis and response, including analysis of network or endpoint content and metadata for detailed time lining and event reconstruction
  • Maintaining secure case and data archive inventories and case management systems
  • Maintaining and updating SOPs for acquisition, analysis and reporting techniques
  • Evaluating industry standard tools and processes used for forensic acquisitions and analysis
  • Authoring and peer-reviewing detailed, professional analysis reports
  • Leading or contributing to key projects related to corporate forensics and information security initiatives
  • Keeping up to date with modern information security insider threats, attack vectors and exploits

Qualifications 

  • Must have advanced understanding of operating systems, networks, embedded systems, penetration testing, Cyber Exploitation, Cyber Attack, Cyber Defense, software security, malware analysis, digital forensics, cyber system engineering, reverse engineering, cyber test & evaluation, and/or encryption algorithms and technologies
  • Well versed and skilled in proper evidence handling, duplications, and Chain of Custody procedures
  • Experience using remote acquisition/analysis tools or endpoint detection/response agents across multiple OS systems for security log or data collections
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects with similar deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills required to establish and maintain positive relationships with various internal business units in order to complete investigations
  • Assist in developing, documenting, and refining necessary procedures to accomplish discovery process requirements.
  • Experience with scripting, programming/coding, database languages (SQL, VB, HTML, Access)
  • Comfortable participating or mentoring DFIR tasks including Live Response and Volatile Data acquisition and analysis
