Overview
Provide leadership and in-depth expertise in the areas of research and studies; design, development, conduct and reporting of operational tests and/or assessments; and formulation/implementation of improvement initiatives. Conduct and/or direct the planning to ensure all objectives can be accomplished and yield meaningful results. This includes the preparation of comprehensive project and analysis plans. Direct the analysis efforts to address objectives and document the results in reports, briefings, and papers. Provide support to cyber strategic planning, analytical inputs to Air Force instructions and policy, information assurance (IA) TTP documentation for Cyber Operations, Real-Time Operations and Innovation, and CNO capability development.

Requirements:

Security Clearance: Top Secret SCI – Willing to take Polygraph

Education/Certifications: BS in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field with five (5) years of experience or MS in Computer Science, Engineering or related scientific / technical field with three (3) years of experience; or equivalent combination Operations Planning and Strategic/Tactical Planning and Analysis,and Project Management

Relevant Experience: One to three (1-3) years of experience in Operations Planning and Strategic/Tactical Planning and Analysis, Project Management; Software Engineering

Key Requirements: TIP Development Experience, Tactics Development Program Knowledge, TDI process experience, CNF knowledge, Tactics Improvement Proposals support experience.

Position Specific Responsibilities:

  • Analyze emerging Operational and Functional Requirements at the force, theater, Combatant Commands (CCMD) and national levels to support the formulation, development and assessment of doctrine, strategy, plans, concepts of operations, and tactics, techniques and procedures in order to provide the full spectrum of Cyber Warfare and enabling capabilities to the warfighter Conduct technical analyses and provide an assessment report on the integration of cyber requirements, capabilities and training.
  • Perform assessments of cyber warfighting capability and the utility of new and emerging technologies Institute and document a formal planning process to analyze assigned missions for capability gaps in CNO capabilities and recommend solutions.
  • Provide expertise developing plans and procedures in compliance with AF guidance and regulations; perform a variety of routine project tasks applied to specialized technology problems, to include integration of electronic processes or methodologies to resolve total system problems, or technology problems.
  • Experience and knowledge supporting and planning for Real-Time Operations and Innovation (RTOI), Sufficiency of Operational Test Review (SOTR), Capabilities and Limitations (C&L) report, Early Operational Assessment (EOA), Operational Assessment (OA), Operational Utility Evaluation (OUE), Force Development Evaluation (FDE), and Evaluated Level of Assurance (ELA)
