Northrop Grumman Mission Systems section is seeking Cyber Software Engineers to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals located at Fairmont, WV.

Qualifications
Roles and Responsibilities:
 
Candidates will be responsible for designing and developing software solutions to cyber threats utilizing the latest techniques in cyber resiliency. Candidates will also research and implement new techniques that will change the industry landscape. Candidates will be responsible for maintaining Linux kernel software and user programs to enable advanced cyber resilience capabilities.
 
Working in a team environment the candidates will be required to participate in planning and status meetings where they will be responsible for reporting on the state of their assigned tasks on a weekly basis.
 
Candidates will also be responsible for providing technical expertise to systems engineers to assist in the definition of requirements, policies, procedures and any other tasks associated with the IRAD or other related/supported programs.
This requisition may be filled at a higher grade based on qualifications listed below.
 
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and 0 – 3 years’ experience in software development with the C programming language.
 
Clearance: Must be a US Citizen. Must have the ability to obtain a TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
  • Must have experience with C and Python Programming Languages
  • Cyber Security Background
  • Experience with Linux Operating Systems (RHEL, Yocto, Debian)
  • Experience with Multithreaded/Concurrent Programming
  • Experience with Distributed VCS (Git, Mercurial, Bazaar)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Linux Kernel or Driver Programming
  • Embedded Systems/Firmware Development
  • CNO Skills (Reverse Engineering/Penetration Testing, etc.)
  • Intel, ARM, MIPS or PowerPC Assembly/HW Knowledge
  • Experience with Mission Critical software or embedded systems
