Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics discipline from an accredited university and 5+ years of software engineering experience OR
  • Master’s Degree in STEM and 3+ years of software engineering experience
  • Experience developing software/writing code in Java, C++, C, C# or other OOP languages.
  • An active in-scope DoD Secret or Top Secret clearance
  • The ability to obtain program access
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Cyber Security or STEM degree.
  • Ability to take ownership of an ambiguous hard problem and drive to a solution, while working in a team environment.
  • Understanding of software development life cycle
  • Knowledge automated test scripts to facilitate and analyze large data sets.
  • Familiar with the use and automation of static analysis software ( CodeSonar, Foritfy, etc.) and dynamic analysis.
  • Develop scripts as necessary to automate services, integrate components, perform new capabilities, facilitate testing, etc.
  • Knowledge of performance analysis and stability assessment.
  • Excellent 2-way communication skills (upward and downward)
  • Proficient at Agile software development and continuous integration practices
  • Knowledgeable in one or more areas: high assurance software, flight critical software (DO-178), ARINC Standards, CMMI (3-5), hardware/software interfaces, real-time and post processing data analytics, object oriented programming, design patterns, middleware technologies (e.g., DDS, ActiveMQ)
  • TS Cleared, SAP/SAR
  • Have an in depth understanding and use and automation of static analysis software ( CodeSonar, Foritfy, or other etc.).
  • Experience with working with the team to develop dynamic functional tests based on operational scenarios.
  • Experience Developing scripts as necessary to automate services, integrate components, perform new capabilities, facilitate testing, etc.
  • Experience with Conducting performance analysis and stability assessment.
  • Experience with an environment that demands a high proficiency in Linux, good test development skills and interaction with low-level hardware.
