As a member in the Malware team you will be responsible for researching various malicious code samples and developing protections and defenses. You will also have the opportunity to integrate that research into the malware detection platform, including but not limited to wildfire.

Responsibilities:

  • Research threats for the macOS (“OS X”) platform, including analysis of malicious samples
  • Build malware detection engine for the macOS (“OS X”) platform
  • Working closely with teams and communicating with various platform services

Qualifications:

  • Strong team player with a can-do attitude and a drive to take ownership and initiative
  • Proficiency in Python, C, and/or C++
  • Experience in reverse engineering on x86/x64
  • Experience in malware analysis on any platform
  • Experience in binary code debugging on a Unix-style OS
  • Familiar with reverse engineering tools such as IDA Pro, Hopper, gdb/lldb
  • Familiar with malware sandbox development is a big plus
  • Understanding of MacOS (“OS X”) or Linux system internals is a big plus
  • BS/MS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
