Project: Space & Missile Systems Center (SMC) Global Positioning Systems (GPS) SETA
 
Position Overview:
Cyber Security Engineering support to Global Positioning Systems Directorate for planning, acquisition, and sustainment of space-enabled global communications comprised of satellites, terminals, and control stations of various acquisition categories, in different phases of their lifecycles, providing communications to aircraft, ships, mobile, and fixed sites.

  • Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) validation and reporting
  • Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) reporting
  • Mission Information Scheduling
  • Policies and procedures
  • Security baseline tracking
  • Cybersecurity planning
  • Security vulnerability assessments
  • Engineering / contract change proposal reviews
  • System security risk analysis reporting
  • Security control implementation within Test and Evaluation Management Plan (TEMP)
  • Security architecture
Experience and Education Requirements:
  • Bachelors Degree required, Master Degree (MS or MA) preferred. Degree in technical engineering or equivalent preferred
  • 8+ years broad Cyber Security Engineering experience on Space Defense programs. Current or recent experience directly supporting Air Force Military and Civilian personnel on Space program at the Government facility is highly desired.
  • Demonstrated ability to participate in cross-functional planning, coordination, and task execution situations involving the full spectrum of system engineering and integration activities
  • Strong understanding and working experience with space launch process, activities, and execution
  • Must be eligible for a high level security clearance
  • CISSP strongly desired

Must be DoD 8750 Compliant.. i.e. certifications at the IAT Level I or higher;  IAM Level I or higher; and/or IASAE Level 1 or higher
