ACCELERATED DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM, INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
The Accelerated Development Program within the Technology organization brings together top graduates in Information Technology and/or Business Administration in a comprehensive program designed to provide training, education and real-world application of skills. Training will consist of a combination of instructor-led classes, e-learning modules and hands-on projects to garner the skills necessary for technology disciplines such as application development, project management or information security. Participants will be aligned to a track focused on a specific technology discipline and will be paired with a mentor to work side-by-side on real-world projects while continuing their technical and business skill development.
ACCELERATED DEVLEOPMENT PROGRAM TRACKS
The Application Development program runs for six months and focuses on building business skills, technical skills and learning business process management. Participants will be assigned to an application development team and will work on a business process management project. Upon successful completion of the program, a position will be offered on a development team.
- Minimum of a B.S. in Computer Science, MIS, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or related degree.
The Project Management program runs for twelve months and focuses on building business skills, technical skills and project management skills. Participants will work closely with project and program managers as they learn and practice project management methodology and application. Upon successful completion of the program, a position will be offered within an area of project management and support.
Applicants should have intermediate level knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite or a comparable software package and knowledge of project management, change management, incident management processes, and basic knowledge of information technology skills and practices.
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Liberal Arts or related degree.
The Information Security program runs from 6 to 8 months and focuses on building business skills, technical skills and understanding the different facets of information security. Participants will be exposed to real-world assignments in IT Security Operations, Cyber Threat Analysis, Identity and Access Management operations, and Technology Risk Management. Upon successful completion of the program, a position will be offered within Information Security.
Applicants should have a strong technical background, a passion for information security and be able to demonstrate exceptional analytical and problem solving skills.
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS or applicable degree demonstrating technical aptitude.
The Business Analysis program runs for twelve months and focuses on building business skills, technical skills and soft skills to understand and articulate the underlying needs of the business to various audiences. Participants will be exposed to real-world assignments as part of a project team to gain exposure to products and services while strengthening their experience in the Business Analysis function. Upon successful completion of the program, a position will be offered within an area of business analysis and support.
Applicants should have basic knowledge of business operations and IT concepts, the ability to translate concepts to business and technical audiences, a strong investigative nature, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and exceptional analytical and problem solving skills.
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field, Computer Science, Engineering, MIS or applicable degree demonstrating technical aptitude.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
- Active participation/leadership in a professional, community or academic organization.
- Relevant internships and/or work experience in applicable school or industry organizations.
- Strong record of academic achievement and interest in Information Technology.
